The Social Audit Network’s Annual Gathering

The Social Audit Network (SAN) Gathering for 2019 will be held on Wednesday 16th October 2019.

The Gathering will bring together a huge range of people with a shared interest in social impact, social accounting or social enterprise. It will take place at the aptly named Impact Hub Birmingham, 58 Oxford Street, Digbeth, Birmingham B5 5NR. The venue is a short walk from Birmingham New Street and Moor Street Stations.

Starting at 10am, the event will provide an opportunity for connection, reflection, planning and shared learning. It will include:

  • Facilitated networking
  • Keynote ‘state of the sector’ speakers
  • World Café discussion
  • Practical workshops and masterclasses facilitated by SAN Directors.

Topics for the workshops will include: how to use the data that you collect, stakeholder engagement and social auditing.

SAN is pleased to be joined by Liz Tapner who will be sharing her experiences and tips for running a successful social business. Liz is the driving force behind Selnet in Lancashire, and has been responsible for developing it into the major infrastructure organisation that it is today.

Liz was recognised as one of the UK’s social enterprise leaders in 2017 when she was awarded one of the First Honorary Social Enterprise UK Fellowships.

In November 2018 Liz gained further national recognition at the Social Enterprise UK awards event, being named as the UK’s most influential woman in social enterprise.
