Social Value Toolkit and Masterclasses for Housing Providers
Social value and procurement: a toolkit for housing providers is now available for free download from HACT’s website.
HACT have just launched a brand new toolkit to the housing sector that provides step by step guidance about how to effectively measure, monitor and evaluate social impact through the life cycle of the procurement process.
The toolkit was launched last week at the 2016 CIH Housing Conference at an Inside Housing Breakfast Briefing, with over 100 people in attendance.
The toolkit was developed by HACT with support from solicitors Trowers and Hamlins LLP and procurement specialists echelon Consultancy Ltd.
This toolkit provides:
- Detailed guidance about how to drive social value through the supply chain
- An overview of relevant legislation, including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (which implement the 2014 EU Public Sector Procurement Directive)
- A Tool Bank of useful templates, examples and resources to give housing providers and contractors the confidence to engage with social value throughout the procurement process.
