On behalf of The Ability Cooperative Ltd Princes Park Garden Centre, I, Karrie Broad, pledge that we will contribute to the Salford campaign and make 10% improvements in the following ways:

  • To improve the health and wellbeing of our persons supported through healthy eating and lifestyle programmes.
  • Increase the number of active volunteers.
  • Support specialist plant species by utilising peat free composts.
  • Recycle rainwater and waste foods for composting.
  • Play a leading role in supporting our local communities and environment in providing peat free compost.
  • Assist with recycling of clothing and furniture through ‘Little Acorns Charity Shop’

Our pledge will contribute to improving the following outcomes for the City of Salford:

  • More volunteering
  • More recycling
  • More use of parks and green spaces
  • Less waste – fuel, rubbish, energy, water, etc
