On behalf of Graystone Action Sports, I, David McCabe, Director, pledge that we will contribute to the campaign and make 10% improvements in the following areas:

We will use our unique and exciting venue to promote the health and well being of local people through action sports activity and culture and through an annual charity skate and creative event ‘Coping’. We will bring high profile and inspiring sporting events to Salford, such as the National Skateboarding Championship. We will volunteer regularly and enthusiastically in local schools via the ‘Take Five’ initiative and through our friends and neighbours at The Salford Foundation. We will also serve as a social action base for The National Citizenship Scheme.

Our pledge will contribute to improving the following outcomes for the City of Salford:

  • More volunteering
  • More Salford people saying that they have good wellbeing
  • More recycling
  • More local people from vulnerable groups accessing new jobs, apprenticeships, training and work experience placements
  • More purchasing from Salford based companies
  • More young people who are in employment
