GRAHAM Construction

On behalf of GRAHAM Construction, I Stephen van den Hoek, Operations Director, pledge that we will contribute to the campaign and make 10% improvements in the following areas:
- We will target a minimum of 70% local spend
- We will provide employment for Salford people on projects we deliver in Salford
- We will pay the Salford Living Wage to all employees and mandate it across our supply chain
- We will aim to deliver 10% above the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) benchmarks in Employment and Skills on our Salford projects
- We will reduce waste and divert at least 98% away from landfill.
Our pledge will contribute to improving the following outcomes for the City of Salford:
- More Volunteering
- More Salford people saying that they have good wellbeing
- More recycling
- More local people from vulnerable groups accessing new jobs, apprenticeships, training and work experience placements
- More purchasing from Salford based companies
- More young people who are in employment
- Less waste – fuel, rubbish, energy, water, etc
- Less green travel – buses, trams, trains, bikes, lift shares, electric vehicles, walking etc
- More companies paying the LW Foundation Living Wage
