Social Accounting Workshop

The Social Audit Network will be running a Prove, Improve, Account Workshop in social accounting and audit on 27thand 28th June 2017, hosted by For Viva, Board Room, 52 Regent Street, Eccles. Greater Manchester. M30 0BP.

The two day Prove, Improve and Account (PIA) Workshop is aimed at people who wish to understand the Four Step social accounting process either in order to facilitate the process with social economy organisations or to use it within their own organisation.

The Workshop will go through the social accounting and audit process in detail from the perspective of a facilitator/trainer as well as for someone wishing to train to be a social accountant.

Learning outcomes:

  • to be able to compile a set of social accounts in one’s own organisation, ready for audit
  • to be able to assist others in the process

The Fee includes refreshments, lunch and training materials for both days, as well as a copy of the SAN Guide to Social Accounting and Audit on a USB Stick.

The venue is handily situated for train and Metrolink services, as well as being near Junction 2 of the M602.
