Introduction

This document outlines what the Council is seeking to achieve for Manchester’s residents and neighbourhoods through Social Value. Its intention is to provide guidance, information and contact details as a support to suppliers when considering their ‘offer’ and delivery of social value when engaging in a Manchester procurement tender and the successful award of a contract.

‘Our Manchester Strategy’

The Our Manchester Strategy sets out the vision for the city for the next ten years, from 2016 to 2025. It is the City’s strategy, and has been developed together with residents, businesses, public services and voluntary and community organisations. There has never been a clearer picture of what matters to people who live and work in Manchester.
